More than a group room. A place to come back to themselves.
The New Birth Teen Intensive is a private, eight-week after-school program for teens who need more than one session a week. Small groups, chef-prepared dinners, music, art and movement, and a real role for parents. Your teen stays in school. You get a team and a plan.
Most teen programs are groups all day and takeout for lunch.
Our founder, Dr. Regina Ransom, has worked inside teen intensive programs and saw what was missing: parents left on the sidelines, rotating groups, and very little attention to the body or to what makes a teen feel like themselves again. So we designed the program we wished existed.
- Worry, panic, or perfectionism that is affecting school or home
- Low mood, withdrawal, or losing interest in things they love
- Big emotions, anger, or constant conflict at home
- Avoiding school, or struggling after a move or a deployment
- Friendship pain, bullying, or a hard relationship with screens
- Stepping down from a higher level of care and needing support
Intentional in every detail.
A closed, small cohort
No more than eight teens who start and finish together, with two trained adults in the room at all times.
The Connection Table
A chef-prepared, family-style dinner every weekday session, with staff at the table. Real food, real conversation.
More than worksheets
One focused skills group each day, followed by music, art, movement, or mindfulness, so the skills land in the body, not just on paper.
Parents in the room
A weekly parent group, two family sessions, multi-family Saturdays, and a short update every week so home and program speak the same language.
Mind and body
Optional functional wellness testing looks at sleep, gut health, and nutrients, the things that quietly shape mood and focus.
A plan you keep
Week eight ends with a graduation ceremony, a written plan your teen built, and a printed Family Roadmap, plus a 30-day follow-up call.

Good questions. Honest answers.
Will my teen miss school?
No. The program runs after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays and on Saturday mornings, so there is no leave of absence and no catching up.
Do you take insurance?
We are a private pay practice. That means no insurance authorizations deciding how long your teen can stay, and nothing billed to insurance.
Who is this not right for?
Teens who are in immediate danger, are actively using substances, or need medical monitoring need a higher level of care first. If that is where your family is, we will help you find the right next step.
How do you keep teens safe?
Two trained adults are with the group at all times, teens are signed in and out by an approved adult, and every family receives our crisis plan before week one.
When does the founding cohort start?
We are planning for spring 2027. Families on the interest list will hear the exact dates first, before enrollment opens to the public.
Be the first to know.
Add your family to the list and we will reach out with dates, a free parent call, and first access to the founding cohort. Space is limited to eight teens.
