A clinical evaluation built to meet the standards of USCIS and the courts.

An immigration psychological evaluation is a formal forensic assessment that produces a detailed written report for your immigration case. Its purpose is to provide objective clinical evidence of the hardship, trauma, or psychological impact at the heart of your legal argument.

It is not therapy, and it is not a substitute for ongoing care. It is a focused, professional assessment designed to be read by immigration officials and judges, and to give your attorney a credible, well-documented foundation for your petition.

We work in direct coordination with your immigration attorney throughout the process, and our reports are prepared to withstand the scrutiny these cases demand.

Evaluations for the cases where psychological evidence matters most.

Every case is different, and every evaluation is tailored to the specific legal standard it needs to meet. We support a full range of immigration matters.

Immigration evaluations live at the intersection of clinical insight and legal rigor. New Birth was built for exactly this kind of integrative, high-stakes work.

Forensic-trained expertise

Our evaluations are conducted and signed by Dr. Regina Ransom, whose graduate training in forensic psychology brings exactly the rigor these reports require. Judges weigh credibility heavily, and a forensically sound report holds up under scrutiny.

Genuine trauma specialization

These cases turn on documenting trauma accurately and compassionately. Our practice is built around trauma-informed, evidence-based care, so we know how to recognize, evaluate, and articulate psychological impact with both clinical depth and humanity.

We serve clients from all backgrounds with care that honors identity, language, and lived experience. Spanish-language access is available through professional interpretation, with a bilingual licensed clinician joining our team.
